LEGO have posted a new press release about how the first six months of 2012 went. You can read the full thing here. However, since most people don't like reading long articles on financial profit, I'll sum up the main points here.

  • Net sales up 24%
  • Operating profit up 41.7%
  • Friends sales double the expectations, production increasing.
  • Ninjago selling better than expectations.
  • City and Star Wars still the top sellers.
  • LEGO has 8% of the global toy market, with sales in Europe, the US and Asia increasing.
  • Hiring 1000 new employees
  • Increasing facilities and capicity at most factories.

Basicly, LEGO have lots of  money.
