In my previous post I talked about an Elrond minifigure that would be included with pre-orders of the LEGO Lord of the Rings video game, set for release on 30th October, 2012. Gamestop has now confirmed that the Elrond minifigure promotion is now available with all pre-orders of the upcoming LEGO Lord of the Rings video game. In my previous post it also stated that it was available only with the collectors edition, this has now changed and is now available on all platforms.
Still, it remains to be seen as to whether the Elrond minifigure will make an appearance in any LEGO Lord of the Rings sets in the future, or if the minifigure will be unique to this promotion.
Will you be pre-ordering the game?

Frankly, I don't think the game will go too well, there is far too much pondering and boring bits, which isn't going to go down well with 8-10 year olds.
ReplyDeleteI agree, the first film of the Lord of the Rings trilogy bored me greatly and I nearly gave up on it after an hour, but I continued and finished watching it. It may be a success for true Lord of the Rings fans, but for younger ones, it as you say, full of boring bits that will lose their interest.
DeleteI've only watched the first. Are the second and third any better?
DeleteSorry, I've only watched the first as well.
Delete@CJC95 The second and third are okay but nothing great and spectacular.
ReplyDeleteIn that case, I probably won't bother watching the next two. :/
DeleteIn which case, they slip further down my to-watch list.
